Gosh it's been a jolly busy few days. I have delivered the commission I had been working on and was able to see the home of "In the green wood" also. I'm always delighted to see my paintings on peoples walls. Green wood had been purchased during Dorset Art weeks last year and the collector wanted a partner for it with which I was very happy to oblige.
On Wednesday I will be delivering three paintings to "First View" at Stourhead and will be at the pre-view this Thursday evening. There was a huge crowd last year for the opening so I hope it will be busy again.
I'm about to start a new painting, I have an idea in my head but as always, never too sure if it will work out on canvas!
A good friend and brilliant artist and craftsman Ray Southwell, is going to kindly teach me pottery! I'm very excited about this, it's something I've wanted to learn for a long time, so there may be some three dimensional hares coming this way...
Welcome!
I thought this blog would be a good idea to let everyone know what I'm up to on the painting and modeling front. I'm also hoping this may help me keep track of my thoughts, see what comes to fruition and what slips down the back of the easel!
