I know I know, what is the point of having a blog if you don't up-date it?! What can I say... I'm as hopeless at keeping in touch with the world in general as with friends, I hang my mouse ( not a real mouse, that would be really bad) in shame and will endeavour to try harder.
Well it's been maybe nine months, mutter mumble... shuffle. I have been busy though, many many paintings and a parrot have happened since my last attempt at communication. Not on a par with giving birth but, blimey a parrot is full on. A cross between a baby, a dog (terrier variety) and maybe an elderly and rather needy relative.
Anyway, have painted a lot too, really inspired by the art nouveau era lately and been working on a self portrait in that style.
Also have been writing a short children's story with illustrations. Hopeing to get it published but who knows...
I will be taking part in this years 'Dorset art weeks' in St. James church Shaftesbury with Irene Timmes art class.
